Route Suggestions

Google maps does have a bmtc bus numbers data-base. However it's not complete and very accurate. It doesn't give bus options even though they exist.
Hence need of sharing some experience with respect to routes.

Tried and tested route suggestions below

Gunjur to Outer Ring Road (towards Silk Board)

Onward option 1 - Take buses going to Kundalahalli Gate and change bus. Take 500 CA (AC) or 500 F.

Onward option 2 - Take buses going to Marathalli Bridge corner and change bus. Take any bus going left.

Return - Take bus to Marathalli Bridge and change. Take a bus to either Varthur Kodi/Vathur Market and then another change. Buses to Gunjur may not be frequent

 

Gunjur to Outer Ring Road (towards K R Puram)

Onward - Take bus to Marathalli Bridge and change. You will have to walk over the foot bridge and then walk to the other side of the road opposite of KalaMandir. Lot of AC buses on outer ring road.

Return - Take bus to Marathalli Bridge and change. Take a bus to either Varthur Kodi/Vathur Market and then another change. Buses to Gunjur may not be frequent.

 

 

Gunjur to ITPL 

Onward - Take a bus to Hope Farm and change. These buses are very frequent (e.g. 328H). Take a bus to ITPL

Return - Take a bus to Hope Farm and change. Take bus to home (e.g. 328 H)

Gunjur to Airport

Option 1 - Take a bus/auto/taxi to Varthur Kodi and take buses starting with number KIA- . Usually every 30 minutes to 1 hour. Check BMTC site schedule.

Option 2 - Take a bus/auto/taxi to  JP Morgan on outer ring road and take buses starting with number KIA- . Usually every 30 minutes to 1 hour. Check BMTC site schedule
